 | | | The Secomak Mistral | The Secomak Mistral is a compressed air nozzle drying system that offers an innovative practical alternative to the airknife drying systems that we offer. This alternative can sometimes work out to be more effective and cost beneficial. We can discuss this with you to find the most appropriate solution for your needs.
Mistral Production Drawing
The Secomak Mistral Drying System comprises:

- A stainless steel framework designed for easy assembly and installation.
- Nozzle Adjustments to maximise performance (Individually Adjustable)
- Secomak Ringjet Air Amplifiers to multiply the air volume by 25 times
Generic Construction Provides:
- Line Speeds upto 60,000 cph
- Noise Levels down to 75dbA
- Compliant with BCME specification
- Air Consumption 28 scfm @ 3bar
The Mistral is designed with accessibility in mind. There is easy access to all the major components, which allows for easier cleaning and carrying out maintenance. Cleaning and maintenance are recommended to keep it running at optimum speed and noise levels low.

| | | | | The Nozzle Drying System | The Mistral has directable micro-nozzles each individually adjustable. These are useful for different application uses. To remove water from under a crown cap or screw cap, the nozzles should be directed at a slightly upward angle in the direction of the flutes. To dry the bottle neck the nozzles should be pointing downwards.
The nozzles spray compressed air onto the container and lift the tiny moisture particles into the surrounding air, producing a fine mist within the unit. The mist is either evacuated from the top chamber or driven downwards away from the cap and neck area.
As the bottle emerges from the drying system, two Secomak Ringjet Air Amplifiers, clear the tops and sides of the container.

Secomak Air-Minder, an energy saving product is available to
provide supply on demand and control of the compressed air supply, which results
in an efficient use of the air. The unit operates from an on - site compressed air supply. Follow this link for more information on the Air-Minder.
