With this in mind we are pleased to reiterate our extensive business links with the University of Hertfordshire.
This expanding partnership has many benefits for both Secomak and The University of Hertfordshire. These include:
- A government funded KTP - (Knowledge Transfer Partnership)

collaborative research centre - (A centre of excellence for drying,
situated at The University of Hertfordshire's, College Lane Campus).
- Specialist Facilities - (Anechoic Chamber, CFD Suite, Materials Testing).
The partnership between the University of Hertfordshire and Secomak
also opens up opportunities for students. These opportunities include:
- 3rd year students being given the opportunity to do 12 month Business paid placements on site at Secomak.
- Part time work for Engineering Undergraduates.
- Practical Project work for students - (including Final Year) Undergraduates, MSC Postgraduate students and PHD Research students
